NestJS

Summary

Introduction

NestJS is a framework for building efficient, scalable Node.js server-side applications. It uses progressive JavaScript, supports TypeScript and combines the element of OOP (Object Oriented Programming), FP (Functional Programming) & FRP (Functional Reactive Programming).

Installation

$ npm i -g @nestjs/cli

Usages

1) nest new

$ npm new <project_name> [options]

Options

Option Description
--dry-run Report the changes made, but it doesn't affect the file system.
Alias: -d
--language [language] Specify programming language (TS or JS).
Alias: -l

2) nest generate

$ nest generate <schematic> <name> [options]
$ nest g <schematic> <name> [options]

where,
<schematic> - to generate.
<name> - name of the generated component.
